Heavenly Father, I confess that I am a sinner in need of salvation. I invite Jesus Christ into my life and I receive His free gift of salvation. I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, when He died on the cross for my sins. Right now, I ask You to give me a clean heart, a new spirit, and teach me Your ways. I pray and ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Welcome to the family of God!
Praying this prayer of salvation is just the beginning.
I encourage you to read the Bible. It is through the Bible that we learn more about Jesus and how to live according to His ways.
- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16).
I encourage you to build a relationship with God. I don’t know of any relationship that grows without communication. Prayer and talking with God daily, matters.
- The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18).
I encourage you to get plugged in with a Church/Ministry. In-person fellowship with other believers who can support you and encourage you in your faith is ideal. However, whether in-person or online, find a church that preaches and teaches the Word of God, without compromise.
- And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25).
