Christianity Defined is a movement to disciple future disciplers. Through this ministry, our goal is to help individuals grow in their faith and become well-round disciples of Jesus Christ.
Through this article, an extension to our About Page, you will learn about the truth that fuels our ministry.
This is an online ministry committed to offering resources that are biblically sound, grows you in knowledge and understanding of the truth, challenges you to come up higher in Jesus, and prepares you to go out and disciple others.
All of our resources are inspired and derived from personal Bible time and spending time in the presence of the Lord, where we ourselves grow in knowledge, in truth, in wisdom, in correction, and in faith.
Our resources are birthed out of everything the Lord has taught us and continues to teach us. Our resources are not AI based. Our resources are Bible based. And that will not change! That is our commitment to you.
I am highly aware that we live at a time where it’s getting harder and harder to know what is real. What to believe. And for that reason we are committed to sharing the Word of God from the Bible. It is His Word that can be trusted.
Now that you know a little more about Christianity Defined, I’d like to share with you the two foundational messages behind this ministry. Two messages that God continues to grow in my heart and that is the driving force behind every article and every resource created.
Obedience Matters
The message of walking in a healthy fear of the Lord through obedience and holiness unto God, is a message that appears to be lost amongst many today. Sin is excused, dwindled down and overlooked. Many people are failing to rise to the call of obedience. The only message they seem to be comfortable with, is the message of grace.
And don’t get me wrong, we all should have our attention on the grace of God. It is through His grace that we are saved. If it was not for His grace, both you and I would be on the fast track to hell right now. Grace is a message we cannot afford to lose. But it is also a message we cannot afford to misrepresent.
Nowhere in the Bible is grace presented as a license to sin. Grace is available to us when we do sin—as we all will! But it isn’t there to keep us in sin. It isn’t there to coddle us in sin. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, He died so that you could live completely free from the slavery of sin.
Because unrepented sin is slavery to darkness.
Yes, God’s grace and goodness is there for us when we fall into sin. But it is not there to keep us bound in it.
We are called to a life of obedience and holiness.
Because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16).
A life of obedience is a life that actively and intentionally resists sin, acknowledges all sin for what it truly is—evil, and repents of it with true humility rather than abased pride.
If you are a person who wants to mature in their faith and truly honor God by walking in obedience and holiness, Christianity Defined is for you. Here, you will be encouraged and challenged to come up higher. To resist the pressure to be a mediocre Christian, and to truly give God every part of your life. If you adhere to our teachings as we adhere to God, you will not be found lukewarm (Revelation 3:16). You will be found ready—that is, ready for God both now and in eternity.
The Truth Is Still An Option
The culture is loud. And its messages tend to be both demanding and forceful. It often comes with an attitude that says, “What we believe is the truth, and if you believe something different, you’re wrong.” This aggressive stance has led to people being canceled, demeaned, and dishonored.
But Christianity Defined will not bend to the culture. We stand on God’s Word, not anyone else’s, especially when it’s contrary to His.
Many people today feel like they can’t speak the truth. They feel afraid and believe they’ll be ostracized.
We are here to remind you that the Word of God isn’t just a truth, it is The Truth.
And The Truth is still an option.
I don’t care how intellectual, aggressive, or popular someone is. You do not have to be who they tell you to be, do what they tell you to do, or live how they tell you to live. You can follow The Truth. You can follow Jesus—because He is The Truth:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6).
The Truth is still an option today and no one can take that from you.
If you will surrender to Jesus and His Word, you will not be deceived, manipulated, or led astray. There is another option, regardless of what culture tells you, and that option is Jesus.
I titled this message, The Truth Behind Christianity Defined. I want to be clear that The Truth I’m referring to is Jesus Christ and His Word. We are committed to following Him and we are committed to teaching others how to follow Him as well.
I encourage you to subscribe to Christianity Defined and grow in both obedience and truth—and become a well-rounded disciple of Jesus Christ today!
